Willard Wojahn

June 19, 1926 — October 5, 2010

Willard Louis Wojahn, age 84 of Cannon Falls, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, October 5, 2010 at Twin Rivers Senior Campus in Cannon Falls, where he and his wife have resided since September. Willard was born Emmetsburg, Iowa on June 19, 1926 the son of Freiderich and Louise (Brunshire) Wojahn. Willard married Beverly Bebo on August 4th, 1953 in Dolliver, IA. Willard served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a life member of the VFW Nelson Scofield Post #4452. He worked for 24 years at Minnesota Malting in Cannon Falls. Willard was a member of Wangen Prairie Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, wood-working and building bird-houses and bird-feeders. Willard is survived by his wife, Beverly (Bebo) Wojahn; children, Fred (Deborah) Wojahn of Cannon Falls, Julia (Daniel) Haeuszer of Arizona and Charmae (Niel) Greene of Taylors Falls; 6 grandchildren, Rick Wojahn, Zachary (Elizabeth Stai) Wojahn, Hannah Wojahn, Scott Greene, Heather Greene, and Jennifer (Mike) Bergeron; 2 great-grandchildren, Eric and Laysa Bergeron; sisters, Normadine Bredehoeft and Opaldine Clausen; and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Bridgette Greene; sister, Bernadine Bredehoeft; brother, Raymond Wojahn; mother-in-law, Eva Bebo and father-in-law, Verril Bebo. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 8 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation for one hour prior to the service, at Wangen Prairie Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, with Pastor Curtis Fox officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Scott Greene, Heather Greene, Jennifer Bergeron, Rick Wojahn, Zachary Wojahn, Hannah Wojahn and Elizabeth Stai. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Bergeron, Laysa Bergeron, Mike Bergeron and Daniel Haeuszer.
