Victor E. Albrecht

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Victor Albrecht died peacefully at his home in Cannon Falls, MN on Friday, November 17, 2023.
The son of Mathew and Christine (Jaeger) Albrecht, Victor was born and raised in North Dakota. He moved to Minnesota where he became a professional ballroom dance instructor while working and obtaining his Bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota. 
Married on May 15, 1965 Victor and Janice raised their family in Minneapolis. He continued to amass a large, devoted following of dance students, teaching across Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Following his retirement as Stores Supervisor from the Minneapolis Park Board, they lived in Florence, OR, where they enjoyed road trips and touring the country visiting family and friends. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice; and his daughter, Stephanie Smith.  He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Diana) Albrecht and Scott Albrecht; and granddaughter, Wispra (Finley) Smith. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 1 PM to 4 pm at 6670 Bluff Drive in Cannon Falls.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
