Terrie L. Hope, age 68 of Cannon Falls, died on Wednesday evening, May 11, 2022, at The Lodge on Natchez in Elko, MN.
Terrie Lynn Hope was born on February 11, 1954 in St. Paul, the daughter of Charles and Verlinda (Sandeen) Allen. She grew up in the southern Twin Cities and graduated from Rosemount High School in 1972. Terrie worked for Flint Hills Resources at the Pine Bend Refinery as an operator for 33 years, retiring in 2018. She was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. Terrie was known for her fierce independence and love of adventure. She rode horses and was an avid world-traveler. Terrie visited many incredible places like the Great Wall of China and the Egyptian pyramids. She went on an African safari, journeyed down under to Australia, and crossed the Panama Canal. She traveled to 38 countries in total.
Survivors include her children, Jessica Rae Ives and Jeffrey Michael Hope (Kristal Gray); her siblings, Randy (Susan) Allen, Shelly Roemeling, Dona (Tony) Holm, and Dawn (Randy) Redding; brother-in-law, Gerry Sessions; sister-in-law, Laura Allen; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Larry Allen; and her sister, Jody Sessions.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, May 20 from 3-6pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls.
In lieu of flower arrangements, family prefers outdoor/indoor live plants.
