Shirley Montgomery

Shirley Joan Montgomery passed away peacefully on February 7, 2016 at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ida Hopp, and brother Harlan Hopp. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Montgomery; children, Michael (Jodi) Montgomery and Mark (Dawn) Montgomery; grandchildren, Zachariah, Corinna, Teika, Alexis, Pebbles, and Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Landon and Peyton. Shirley loved her family and always thought of them first. She was their number one fan whether it was a sports event, school concert, or church program. She was always so proud of her family. Shirley also loved gardening and was an avid sports fan. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by those who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held at First English Lutheran Church, 511 W. Belle St., Cannon Falls, on Sat., Feb. 13 at 11 am. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9-11am. Interment at Cannon Falls Cemetery.
