Sherri Chambers

Sherri (Hall) Chambers, age 59, a lifelong resident of Cannon Falls, MN died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2018.

Sherri Rae was born to Richard and Beatrice (Taylor) Hall on March 2, 1958. She grew up in Cannon Falls with her three sisters, Lorri, Brenda, and Lynda and brother, Rick and surrounded by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She attended Cannon Falls School and graduated with the Class of 1976. After school, she started working for Princess Toys and then in later years was an employee of the Gemini Corporation, Peterson Turkey Farm, and a home health aide for her grandmother.

In February, 1981 she was joined in marriage with Michael Chambers. They were blessed with two children, Shauna Rae in 1981 and Jered Michael in 1984. Later in life, her little “love bugs” (Kingston 2010, Lilyanna 2011, and Cashden 2013) came along. They were her sunshine, her happy, and they called her Nana.

Sherri was a very caring person and was always there for whomever needed her. Throughout her life, she enjoyed nature, tending to her gardens and plants, doing puzzles, taking trips North, and playing volleyball with her girlfriends. She loved baking and cooking. She also enjoyed listening to music and every now and then, she would pull out her guitar and strum us a tune. She also loved shopping trips with her mom and sisters, and spending time with many friends and extensive family.

She is now our angel and joins her Father in heaven, along with her dad, Richard Hall and all of her family before her. She will be missed by many, and she loved you all!

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mike; daughter, Shauna Chambers (Dan Gangloff) of Cannon Falls; son, Jered (Janna) Chambers of Hastings; three grandchildren, Kingston Caldwell, Lilyanna Chambers, and Cashden Cassidy; mother, Beatrice Hall of Cannon Falls; sisters and brother, Lorri (Paul) Gergen of Randolph, Rick (Archie) Hall, Brenda Nieman, and Lynda Hall, all of Cannon Falls; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and special Godchildren, Danielle and Alan.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 a.m., at St. Ansgars Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls.
