Roberta Miller

Roberta Ann Miller, age 77 of Cannon Falls, and formerly of Bloomington and Burnsville, passed away peacefully April 25th 2015. Roberta was the daughter of Nordehl & Fae (Richardson) Reetz and was born on June 28th, 1937. She graduated from Muscoda High School, WI in 1955, and following graduation she attended Spencerian College in Milwaukee, WI. On September 1, 1956 she married Richard Miller in Muscoda. Roberta had a gorgeous voice and enjoyed singing at different events and in the church choir. She also enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, camping, traveling in motor homes, and being apart of the Cannon Valley car club. Roberta was very devoted and dedicated to her family and enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events and dance recitals. Roberta enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. She took pride in organizing family get-togethers and loved cooking and entertaining. She not only showed her family love and compassion but taught them grace, strength, and perseverance. Roberta is survived by her husband of 58 years Richard Miller, children Rochelle Larson (Randy) of Eagan, Rebecca Webber (Richard) of Farmington, and Russell Miller (Jim Carey) of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren Jennifer, Joelle, Jared, Jamie, Anthony, Summer and Terence; great grandchildren Alyvia, Weston, Katalina and Everett; brother Rodney Reetz of Richland Center, WI, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nordehl & Fae Reetz, brother Ronald Reetz, and sister-in-law Sandra Reetz. A memorial service and celebration of Roberta's life will be held Thursday April 30th at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12-1 p.m., at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, 7459 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls. A family burial will take place at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Burnsville, MN.
