Rhonda Westvik

Rhonda Lynne Westvik, age 48 of Cannon Falls, died peacefully at home on Friday evening, October 14, 2011. Rhonda was born on May 13, 1963 in Sipsey, Alabama, the daughter of Nettie "Earline" (Phillips) and Junior John Blagburn, and was raised in Cannon Falls. Even though she lived in other areas, she considered Cannon Falls her home. She loved bowling, reading, dancing, cooking, baking, and camping. She most enjoyed her dog, Dusty and cat, Tigger. Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Jaime Johnson (fiance, Daniel Smith) of Tampa, FL; granddaughter, Mariah Lynne Mikesh of Deer River; step-father, David Krohn of Cannon Falls; brother, William Krohn of Cannon Falls; niece, Amanda Penman-Krohn (friend, Devin Smith) of Apple Valley; and former step-son, Andrew Suman of Rosemount. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 17 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cannon Falls Cemetery, with Pastor Andrew Owzarek officiating. Active pallbearers will be Andy Suman, Devin Smith, Daniel Smith, Billy Krohn, Amanda Penman-Krohn and Deb Williams.
