Patti Jo Busse

Our beloved, Patti Jo Marie Busse passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. She will forever be 53 years of age.

Patti was born on May 12, 1965 in Grand Rapids, MN, the daughter of Russell and Lona (Arseneau) Dahl. She met and later married the love of her life, Don Busse on June 3, 1991.

P.J. was our angel on earth, and was always helping someone in need, including people she didn’t know. She was such a fun-loving, goofy, silly, compassionate soul with a beautiful giving spirit, who never stopped singing, humming, or talking because she could not hold all her love inside her. Her greatest loves were her granddaughters and family.

She was greatly loved by many and will be deeply missed by her husband, Don of Cannon Falls; daughters, Kianna McBride (fiancé, Ryan Hanson) of Forest Lake and Carin Busse of Eagan; three grandchildren, Emma, Autumn, and Bree; her mother, Lona “Bunny” Schuberg of Burnsville; sisters, Dianne (Paul) Morales of Burnsville, Karen Dahl (fiancé, Chris Jorgensen) of Minnetonka, and Beth (Dan) Schutt of Hampton; parents-in-law, Keith and Madonna Busse of St. Charles; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends, along with her special chosen families.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Dahl Jr.; and infant daughter, Sarah.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 12 from 4-7 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. At 6 p.m., there will be an opportunity to share memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in Patti’s memory to the family.
