Pamela Kiehne

Pamela Pearl Kiehne, age 59 of Cannon Falls, died on Monday afternoon, May 23, 2011 at the Seasons Hospice in Rochester. Pam was born on September 6, 1951 in Litchfield, MN, the daughter of Earl and Pearl (Werner) Nystrom. She graduated in 1969 from the Litchfield High School. Pam married Galen Kiehne on November 9, 1968 in Litchfield, and they later divorced. She graduated from Winona State University in 1993 with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She was currently employed with the City of Hampton, until her recent illness. She enjoyed flower gardening, her dog Maggie; and many crafts, including beading, sewing, quilting and stamping. She also loved to decorate for the Christmas season. She is survived by her daughters, Kris (Dave) Kuhn of Meire Grove, MN and Tracy Kiehne of Byron; three grandchildren, John and Michael Elliott, and Katie Kiehne; brother, Byron (Sue) Nystrom of Long Prairie; one nephew and two nieces; and her special mom, Bev Ciesielski of Independence, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation from 10-11 a.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Pastor Dan Feldkamp will officiate. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
