Nancy C. Kreutzian

Nancy C. Kreutzian, age 81, of Cannon Falls, died on Sunday evening, February 11, 2024, at her home.

Nancy Carol  Kreutzian was born on August 9, 1942, in Frederic, WI, at her family’s home. She was the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle (Simonson) Larsen. Nancy started her education in a one-room schoolhouse, and finished as a Frederic High School graduate in 1960. On August 10, 1964, Nancy married Bruce T. Kreutzian. Shortly after they were married, Bruce joined the Navy and she moved to Florida where they lived until he was discharged. They left Florida for Minnesota, living for a short time in Minneapolis, then Prior Lake. They eventually settled in Cannon Falls in the early 1970’s. Nancy was a member of St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church. She had worked for the Cannon Falls Beacon as a proofreader and then at Cannon Eye Clinic. She enjoyed camping, traveling with Bruce in their RV, and especially enjoyed visiting the Gold Coast and Branson. She loved music and sang in a couple of different choirs, including the CF Community Choir. She loved seeing her grandchildren, visiting son Todd and family in Colorado and time with their many friends.

Survivors include her husband Bruce, children Jill (Jerry) Serres and Todd (Stephanie Villano) Kreutzian, grandchildren Sean (Alexandra) Serres, Alexandra (Ryan Lindfors) Serres, Owen Kreutzian, and Isla Kreutzian; sister Shirley Kongshaug, sister-in-law Delores Larsen, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Larsen, and niece Lori Cullen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cannon Falls Food Shelf or to St. Ansgar’s Good Samaritan Fund.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 am, at St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church, 7549 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the time of the service. Nancy’s service will be live streamed and can be viewed  by clicking the link below. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held from 12:00 - 2:30 pm, at the Grand O2 Event Center, 32057 64th Ave, Cannon Falls, Mn, 55009. friends and family are welcome to attend.
