Nancy Jean Bentzin, age 56 of Cannon Falls, died on Sunday morning, November 1, 2009 at her home surrounded by family.
Nancy was born in Austin, MN on November 20, 1952, the daughter of Gerald and Deloris (kneeland) Raschke.
Nancy has resided in Cannon Falls since 1996. She worked as head of the dietary department at the Cannon Falls Medical Center for 12 years. She was an animal lover and avid gardener. Nancy enjoyed making stained glass, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is very loved and will be greatly missed!
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Deloris Raschke; husband, Dennis Bentzin; and brother, Michael Raschke.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Bentzin; her daughters, Dena Erickson, Dacia, Donia and Shannon Bentzin, and Paula Morton; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Mackenzie, Jace, A’Janae, Jaiyana, Jeriun, Liana, and Jadrien; and her dog, Pikachu.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.
