Morna E. LaLonde, age 93, formerly of Cannon Falls, died on Friday morning, February 1, 2008 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls.
Morna was born on December 28, 1914 in Oreck, MN, the daughter of Julius and Matilda (Gunderson) Egge. Following high school, Morna worked as a hairdresser for many years.
She married James LaLonde, and was a housewife and mother to their daughter, Maurita.
Morna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James "Jimmy"; and daughter, Maurita Steiger.
She is survived by many family and friends that loved her!
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 4:00 p.m., with visitation from 3-4 p.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls, with Pastor Gary Schulz officiating.
Interment will be held on Monday, February 4 at
2 p.m. at the Palm Beach Memorial Park in Lantana, Florida.
