Mildred Loraine Fox, age 91 of Northfield died Sunday December 3, 2006 at the Northfield Medical Center.
Mildred was born October 1, 1915 the daughter of David and Selma (Carlson) Gustafson in Red Wing, MN. She would marry Francis L. Fox on November 28, 1935. They lived and farmed near Cannon Falls for many years. Mildred loved to bake, can fruits and vegetables and was an avid quilter; in fact one of her quilts had won best of show. She and Francis spent many winters in Arizona.
Mildred is lovingly survived by her children Richard (Lois) Fox of Faribault, Donna (Edward) Miller of Cannon Falls, Linda (Tom) Petricka of Northfield, and Deb (Tom) Raabolle of Northfield; her grandchildren Jason (Chandra) Wray-Raabolle of Owatonna, Nels (Shannon) Raabolle of Coon Rapids, Jamie (Keith) Mattson of Burnsville, Justin (Greta) Raabolle of Northfield, Jessie (Jalean) Petricka of New Haven, CT, Randina Patricka of Northfield, Terra Patricka of Burnsville, Kenneth Fox of Faribault, and Carl Fox of Lake City; 9 great grandchildren; her brother Duane Gustafson of Cedar Rapids, IA; sister-in-law Elsie Gustafson of Dundee, MN and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Francis L., sister Elsie Wenzel, and a brother Kermy Gustafson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday December 6, 2006 at St. Pius V Catholic Church, Cannon Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday in the Lundberg Funeral Home with a 6:30 Rosary service. Visitation will also continue 1 hour prior to Mass Wednesday in the church.
Interment at St. Pius V Catholic Cemetery.
Active casketbearers will be Jason Wray-Raabolle, Nels Raabolle, Justin Raabolle, Jessie Patricka, Keith Mattson and Glen Gustafson.
