Michael Thompson

Michael Joseph Thompson, age 72, of Dennison, died Monday, July 22, 2019 at Our House Hospice Care in Richland Center, WI.

Mike was born on December 15, 1946 in Northfield, the son of Joseph and LaVon Thompson. He graduated from Randolph High School in 1964 and served in the National Guard. On May 3, 1969 he was united in marriage to Linda Fox at Spring Garden Lutheran Church.  Mike worked for Pepsi in Burnsville. He enjoyed softball, 4H, automobile racing, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children Christopher (Cecelia) of Stoughton, WI, Jon (Ann) of Mankato, and Bradley (Juli) of Ithaca, WI; grandchildren Keegan (Amber), Amelia, Sophia, Sylvia, Elbie, Elliot, Byron, Landon, and Kerrick; siblings Lynn (Greg) Gilligan, Steven (Colleen) Thompson, Tamara (Michael) Mason, Mark (Linnea) Thompson, Randy (Teri) Thompson, Carl Thompson, and Mary Jo Thompson; and nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife Linda in 2013 and his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 4-6 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN  55009. Interment will be in the Vang Lutheran Cemetery.
