Michael J. Bollig

Michael Joseph "Mike" Bollig, age 61 of Cannon Falls, died at his home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Mike was born on May 19, 1962 in St. Paul, the son of Joseph and Helen (Rosty) Bollig. He grew up in Inver Grove Heights and attended Simley High School.
Mike worked at PPI in Cannon Falls for many years and was currently employed at 3M in Cottage Grove.
He was active in the Minnesota Challengers Car Club and was well-known across Minnesota for his work with pyrotechnics.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends... sons, Ryan (Kari) of Randolph and Brandon of Hastings; grandson, Colton; siblings, Candy (Duane) Herme of Brooklyn Center, Roger Bollig and Robbie Bollig, both of Inver Grove Heights, and Teri (Mike) Dobos of Cottage Grove; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Helen Bollig; and brother, Mark.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27 at 12:30 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. This service will be livestreamed and availalbe to view below. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery. A public visitation will begin at 2 pm until 5 pm at the funeral home.
