Mary Fox

Mary Ann Fox, age 71 of Hastings, died on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Hospital - Rochester, St. Mary’s Campus.

Mary Ann was born on July 13, 1950 in Stanley, WI, the daughter of Thomas and Genevieve (Wisniewski) Wisniewski. She grew up in Junction, WI and later graduated from high school in Stanley, WI.

She married Leonard J. Fox on September 4, 1971 in Stanley, WI and they made their home in Hastings. She worked for 35+ years at Smead Manufacturing in Hastings until her retirement.

Mary Ann will be remembered for her spiritual being. She relished and found comfort in reading the bible every day.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leonard; daughter, Carrie (Jeff) King of Cannon Falls; grandchildren, Dylan, Madysen and Colten King; brothers, Fred “Fritz” Wisnewski of Stanley, WI and Bernard (Caroline) Wisniewski of Prescott, WI; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linus (Pam) Fox and August (Diane) Fox, all of Hastings; and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:30 am, with visitation from 9:30-10:30 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 23955 Nicolai Ave, Miesville. This mass will be live-streamed and available to view below . Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Active urn bearers will be her grandchildren.
