Martin Jasiczek

Martin Dennis Jasiczek was born November 13, 1975 in South Bend, IN. He was raised in Jones, MI, and Zumbrota, MN. At the time of his death he resided in St. Anthony, MN, but had lived and worked in many places throughout his culinary and baking career: New York, Phoenix, and Chicago, to name a few. He earned a Culinary Arts degree from Kendall College in Evanston, IL and a degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Martin was a gentle, patient, giving soul. He was loved universally by children.

He is survived by his 11-year-old daughter, Gabriella; brother, Nick (Xeng); sister, Laura (Colin); parents, Dennis and Pam; three nieces, Estella, Ella, and Olive; a nephew, Clinton; Gabriella’s mother, Liliana; and Liliana’s mother, Maria. He was preceded in death by his 4 grandparents.

Martin died in the early morning on April 30, 2019 at Hennepin County Medical Center. His memorial service will be on Saturday, May 18, at 1:00 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Following the service there will be a celebration of life. Memorials can be made in honor of his daughter, Gabriella, to be placed in a trust.
