Mark Mahoney

Mark Allen Mahoney, age 62, formerly of Cannon Falls, died on Sunday, December 31, 2023 in Mahnomen, Minnesota.

Mark was born on February 7, 1961 in Red Wing, the son of Jerome and Marilyn (Klingsporn) Mahoney. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School and married Bonnie Karasch. They later divorced.

Mark was an excellent woodworker and carpenter. He helped repair and build many houses! He loved his son, Chapin very much, and they had fun together.

He suffered with Leukemia and drug addiction for many years.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn; his brothers, Lonny (Kathy), Shawn (Pauline), Greg (Kris), Chris, and Keith (Kay); sister, Michelle; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dearly loved father, Jerry and son, Chapin on January 16, 2020.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 11 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10-11 am, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, Cannon Falls.
