Mark Truman Grosland, age 64 of Cannon Falls, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Mark was born the youngest of ten children to Elmer and Alice (Banken) Grosland on April 14, 1958 in Albert Lea, MN. He graduated from Ellendale-Geneva High School in 1976, and went on to graduate from Mankato State University. He worked as a systems analyst and consultant for ALCOA in Davenport, IA; Smead Manufacturing in Hastings, and Oracle in Minneapolis.

He married Kathy Nicholas in 1991 and they raised three children together. Mark and Kathy are expecting their first granddaughter in February 2023, and couldn't be more excited and proud.

He was an active member of First English Lutheran Church, especially enjoying the Boundary Waters trips.

Mark had many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, beekeeping, playing guitar, farming, and home brewing. He loved his family and friends, and his stories and sense of humor will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by them.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathy; children, Maddie (Matt) Sather of Shakopee, Cole of Las Cruces, NM, and Gina of Madison, WI; siblings, Allen (Donna) Grosland, Sandy Kvenvold, Harold (Ellie) Grosland, Sharon (Orv) Hogen, Kathy (Gary) Anderson, Gary (Kathy) Grosland, and Debbie (Mark) Hillesheim; sister-in-law, Edith Grosland; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kermit and Arnie Grosland; brother-in-law, Alton Kvenvold; and nephew, Mike Hogen.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 30 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lundberg Funeral Home, Cannon Falls.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, October 1 at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM, at First English Lutheran Church, Cannon Falls. This service will be livestreamed and available to watch at www.LundbergFuneral.com.

Active casket bearers are Allen Grosland, Harold Grosland, Gary Grosland, Orv Hogen, Gary Anderson, Mark Hillesheim, Denny Banken, and Phil Ruud.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society and First English Lutheran Church Youth Program.
