Linda Lindor, age 69, of Cannon Falls, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
Linda Jean Lindor was born on July 29, 1948 in Morris, MN, the daughter of Donald and Gloria (Wagner) Eger. She grew up in ihe Morris area and graduated from Chokio High School in 1966. She went on to obtain a Bachelor’s of Education from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 1970. On September 6, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to David Lindor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chokio. Linda worked as an Elementary School Teacher in Cannon Falls her entire career, retiring after 35 years. She received the Teacher of the Year Award in 2004. She was an active member of First English Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday school and wrote several Christmas Programs for the Sunday school to perform. Linda sang in the church choir as well. She enjoyed going to her children and grandchildren’s sports and other activities. She cross-stitched many blankets over the years for children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Linda was an avid supporter of the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher sports teams. She and David made a few trips to football bowl games over the years.
Survivors include her husband David, children Sarah (Chris) Woodcock, Tiana (Dan) Stewart, and Ria (Rob) Hedeen; grandchildren Courtney, Kayleen, Cole, Alexa, Isaac, Eli, and Kiley; sisters Debra Markham, Wanda Velishek, Ramona Eger, and Jennifer Schmitt; mother-in-law Lorraine Lindor; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Gloria and her father-in-law Donald Lindor.
