Following the death of her husband, Lillian moved to Cottage Grove and shared a loving and caring home with her daughter, Karen, for 21 years. She worked at Sterling Packaging and at Southview Acres nursing home.
Her biggest passions were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other things she loved were listening to polka music, watching nature shows, and sitting outside watching deer, birds and squirrels by the pond. We shall miss her toe tapping while watching Polka Spotlight on TV. She loved her potato pancakes, raspberries, cherry tomatoes and anything lemon. She had a dry sense of humor and wit. She always reminded us to lock our doors in the evening. Mom doors are locked and I hope you and Dad have your dancing shoes on.
Survivors include her children, Marlene Kazmierczak, Gloria (George) Sirbasku, Karen Viere, and Janet (Craig)Jaworski; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
