Leanne "Lea" Sirek, age 47 of Randolph, died on Monday morning, February 12, 2007 at the Cannon Falls Medical Center.
Lea was born on December 15, 1959 in St. Paul, the daughter of Leon and Rosemary (Hoffman) Rydin.
She married Emmett E. Sirek on November 18, 1978 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lakeville.
Lea loved the outdoors, and enjoyed gardening, hiking, and just being out in the sun! Of all places that she has lived or visited, she loved Montana the most! She also enjoyed reading and photo scrapbooking.
She loved her grandchildren, and loved spending time with them "on the farm."
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Emmett; her three children, Jake (Amy) and Adam (Krissy), all of Farmington, and Michelle (Erik) Cote of Northfield; three grandchildren, Landen Sirek, Nikolas Sirek and Abigail Cote; her best friend, Kim Clifford of Fridley; her mother, Rosemary Rydin of Aptos, CA; brothers and sisters, George (Julie) Rydin of Woodlands, TX, Allen (Linda) Rydin of Walnut Grove, MN, Denise Kampt of Bozeman, MT, Patty Vorlicky of Sacramento, CA, Suzanne (Keith) Krueger of West Virginia, and Debbie (Rudy) Tobler of Hawaii; and many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Rydin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m., with a funeral service at 7 p.m., with Pastor Kurt Fuhrman officiating, at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd in Cannon Falls.
