LaRose D. Murray

On Dec 3, 2023 LaRose “Tootie” Diane Murray, age 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep, likely dreaming of meeting Elvis.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and her daytime TV. There was rarely a time she wasn’t working away on her newest creation whether anyone needed one or not. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Her love of Elvis was all around her, literally ALL around her. He could even be found on her shoes. We will miss packing into her living room at Christmas and her Christmas cashews.

Although she was afraid of the water and swimming, she remained living on Lake Byllesby. When LaRose heard the Beep on the Tv announcing a storm coming, she checked the county map to see how close it was (even though she had it memorized) and made sure her kids knew if the storm was near them. Her storm bag packed at all times.

LaRose was survived by her Pickerign L’s. Lynette, Lonny (Jamie), Lenny, LaDonna, Lori (Lonna), Leslie, Lance (Renee), Leanne (Scott), Lisa (Bonnie), LaDea (Greg), many grandkids and great grandkids, her brother and sister.

LaRose was preceded in death by her husband Dick, her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, her wonderful sons-in-law Don and Jeff, and her grandson Michael.

A celebration of life will be Jan 7, 2024 from 2-4 at the Grand O2 Event Center in Cannon Fall, MN.
