Kevin Lamberty

Kevin George Lamberty, age 61, of Lakeville, formerly of Cannon Falls died surrounded by his family on Monday morning, August 15, 2011 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Minneapolis. Kevin was born in Faribault on January 28, 1950, the son of George and Paralee (Anderson) Lamberty. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1968. Kevin followed in his father's footsteps and was a truck driver all his adult life. He had a love for the open road; riding his Harley, taking many yearly trips to Sturgis, SD. He enjoyed playing racquetball, softball and watching the Twins and Vikings. He always loved his animals, especially his childhood horse, Barney. He was truly a free spirit. He is survived by his mother, Paralee Lamberty of Cannon Falls; sisters, Christine (Ronald) Klahr, Diane (Bruce) Brage and Sheryl (Barney) Flom all of Cannon Falls; his love, Amy Mahowald of Lakeville, his Shih-tzu dog Oscar and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad, George L. Lamberty. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, with Pastor Carol Sinykin officiating. Interment will follow at Cannon Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls on Wednesday, August 17 from 5-8 p.m., and also one hour prior to service at church on Thursday.
