Kevin Johnson

Kevin Eugene Johnson, also known as "George", age 54 of Cannon Falls, passed away at home on Thursday evening, November 26, 2015. Kevin was born on July 4, 1961 in Minneapolis. He graduated from Onamia High School in 1980 and married Rhonda Auth on May 30, 1981. Kevin suffered an anoxic brain injury in 2004, which lead to Parkinson's disease. He enjoyed the outdoors, including snowmobiling and riding ATV's. Kevin had a great sense of humor and kept it throughout his illness. He loved spending time with the animals on their farm, traveling, and spending time at the cabin. He loved his family, and especially loved adventures with his grandson. A special thank you to St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassion throughout. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rhonda; two children, Joshua Johnson and Nicole Nachreiner; grandson, Patrick Nachreiner; parents, Larry and Kathy Johnson of Inver Grove Heights; three sisters, Diane (Joe) Herrmann of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Cheryl (Bill) Stettner of Inver Grove Heights, and Sandy (Dan) McCarthy of Coates; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 4-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 a.m., at Spring Garden Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Joe Wetterlund, Al Bester, Todd Wicker, Darin Ripley, Randy Lindsey, and Dan Brandel. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Nachreiner, Troy Lee, and Blake Wilson.
