Katherine M. Wylie, age 73, a resident of Red Wing, and a former resident of Freeborn Manor in Cannon Falls, died on Monday morning, August 11, 2008 at the Rose of Sharon Manor Nursing Home in Roseville.
Katherine was born on May 10, 1935 in Saint Paul, the daughter of Otto and Mary Anna (Rosengren) Juckel. She was raised in Afton and attended school in Stillwater. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1953.
She was married to William A. Kelley, and later Jeffrey C. Wylie. In her earlier years she enjoyed gardening, camping, and animals, especially her cats!
She loved her family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly missed by her children, Linda (Harold III) Hodge of Plant City, FL, Michael (Brenda) Kelley of Neosho, MO, and Pamela Kelley of St. Paul; seven grandchildren, Steve Kelley, Tim Sellers, Dallas Kelley, Harold Hodge IV, Toni Filby, Krista and Denelle White; ten great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Alexus and Steven Kelley, Jamison and Logan Sellers, Hannah Hodge, Curtis, Devon and Erick Schwering, and Hayden Wilson; and one great-great-granddaughter, Allison Schwering.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; and brother, Theodore Juckel.
