Julie Kimmes

Julie Kimmes, age 49 of Cannon Falls, died Sunday September 12th at the Three Links Health Care Center in Northfield. Julie was born on December 21, 1960 in Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of John F. and Margaret (Martin) Hayes. She graduated from the Spencer High School in Iowa. Julie moved to Cannon Falls in the early 80's where she met her husband Jerry. Julie and Jerry were married on May 7, 1994 in Reno, Nevada. She worked for many years with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Julie loved her pets, especially her last dog, Crisco. Julie is survived by her husband, Jerry; sister, Mary Beth (Tim) Saigh of West Des Moines, Iowa and nephew, Andy Saigh. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 410 Colvill St. W., Cannon Falls. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15 from 4-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls. There will also be visitation at the church on Thursday one hour prior to service. Memorials are preferred to the Humane Society of Goodhue County. Active pallbearers will be Shawn, Brian, Matt, Mitch, Andy and Ben Kimmes and Andy Saigh.
