The Lord took Julianne Clair Raverty home on Tuesday afternoon, April 20, 2010 at the age of 58 years, surrounded by her family following a long battle with cancer. Julianne was a resident of the Freeborn Manor in Cannon Falls and was formerly of Roseville, MN.
Julie was born on June 29, 1951 in St. Louis Park, the daughter of Kenneth and Helen (Mosholder) Born. She graduated from Ramsey High School in Roseville in 1969, and had been married to Paul Raverty for 20 plus years. She continued to live in Roseville until moving to Cannon Falls about 4 years ago.
She loved the ocean and all animals, especially her cats, Kenny and Molly. She had a huge heart and would do anything for you!
She is survived by her children, Aimee Meyer of Cannon Falls and Aron (Rina Kline) of Mora; three grandchildren, Amanda, Whitney and Valerie; brother, Jerry Born of Cannon Falls; nieces and nephew, Erica (Corey) Bartz, David, Lori and Julie Holm; step-father, Jim Carroll of Roseville; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Born and Helen Born-Carroll; and sister, Donna Holm.
