Joyce Grothmann

Joyce C. Grothmann, 82, of Fort Lauderdale FL, passed away December 12, 2014 in her daughter's home, surrounded by family. She was born and raised near Minneapolis MN and graduated from Crown College with a Bachelor Degree in Music as a voice major. Joyce eventually moved to Ft. Lauderdale and worked as an administrative assistant, currently at Knox Theological Seminary. Her passion for music was fulfilled as a devoted choir member, soloist and interim choir director of the Chancel Choir at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale. Joyce is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Roxanne (Dave) Boyett of Cannon Falls MN; grandchildren, Benjamin (Shana), Lynae, Alyssa, Aryn, Kate, Timothy, Nancy, Gabrielle, Lissette, Zachary, Matthew, Alex and Micah. Funeral Service will be 11am Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Lundberg Funeral Home of Cannon Falls Minnesota. A memorial service will be held in Fort Lauderdale FL at a later date.
