Joshua "D", "Josh" Harrison was born Dec 16, 1985 in Sauk Centre to Damon and Karen (Eveslage) Harrison and lived in St. Martin for the first 18 years of his life. He died on November 26, 2013 at home in Cannon Falls, MN. There will be a visitation at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 23955 Nicolai Ave E., Miesville on Friday, Nov. 29, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. Martin Catholic Church, 119 Maine Street, Saint Martin, MN with visitation from 10 am until the time of service. Private interment in the church cemetery. Josh grew up in St. Martin with the love of his family, friends and sports. Everyone that knew him, loved him. He always made you smile and was the life of the party. Josh was a three sport athlete at Albany High School, Albany, MN. After graduation, Josh played college football for Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. During college he met the love of his life, Katie Brintnall and they were later married on May 15, 2010 and had a beautiful daughter, Isla. Katie is expecting their second child in May 2014. Josh always said being a husband and father was the happiest he's ever been. Josh loved playing baseball and played with his brother Jake on the St. Martin's baseball team for nine years. Later he played for the Cannon Falls Bears with his brother-in-law Bubba Brintnall. He also continued his love of sports by sharing his talents with a younger generation by being an assistant varsity baseball coach for Hastings High School in Hastings, MN. Josh was loved and respected by his teammates, coaches and fans. As he would say "Fun to watch!!!" Josh is survived by his wife of 3 1/2 years, Katie, his two year old daughter Isla, and his second child on the way, all of Cannon Falls; his parents Damon and Karen Harrison of St. Martin, his brother Jake (Vicky) Harrison of Ivanhoe, sisters Paige and Emily Harrison of St. Joe, parents-in-law, Bob and Kathy Brintnall of Cannon Falls, brother-in-law Ryan "Bubba" Brintnall of Edina, sister-in-law Kelly (Jared) Miller of Cannon Falls, nephew Jackson Ekstrom of Cannon Falls, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and tons of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dee and Penny Harrison and his grandmother Gracie Eveslage.
