Jeremiah C. Lockhart

Jeremiah Carroll Lockhart, age 41, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 2nd, 2023.

Jeremiah was born in Rochester, MN, to James and Kandi (Prouty) Lockhart on February 20th, 1982. Throughout his childhood, Jeremiah was a devoted member of St. Ansgar Lutheran Church. Jeremiah graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 2000 and continued his education at Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI perusing a degree in Human Resources. After college, Jeremiah worked as laborer in the construction industry. Jeremiah enjoyed playing basketball and tennis and spent countless hours attending his daughter’s sports and school activities, often referring to her as his greatest accomplishment.

Jeremiah is survived by his daughter, Alexis (Felix); father, James (Yvonne); brother, Jamey (Kelly); nieces, McKenzie & Lauryn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by and reunited in Heaven with his mother, Kandi; grandparents, Charlotte, Bob and Gareld.

Jeremiah is already missed, dearly loved, and will be remembered for his strength, faith, loyalty, and the countless memories he shared as a father, son, brother, uncle and friend. May he rest in Heavenly peace.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be on Saturday, July 22 from 3 - 6 pm at the VFW Nelson Scofield Post #4452 in Cannon Falls.
