Jean Lillemoen

Jean (Hansel) Lillemoen passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2018. Jean was born on July 16, 1942 to parents Ruth and Clarence Hansel in Fergus Falls, MN. Jean is survived by her husband James; son Anthony (Karen) Lillemoen and their children Katherine, Kristen, Ryan, and Allyson, all of Ohio; daughter Lisa Lillemoen and her children Dylan and Tanner of Apple Valley; daughter Lori (Eric) Martin and their son Jack of Farmington; twin sister Jana Knutson of Rochester, MN; brother Charles (Karen) Hansel of Dalton, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

On June 30, 1961 Jean was united in marriage to James Lillemoen at 10 Mile Lake Lutheran Church in Dalton, MN. They were married for 57 years. Jean has lived in Cannon Falls, MN for the last 55 years. She worked for Kid Duds until they closed and then for Gemini. She loved her family, her church, friends, flowers, birds, and cooking. Jean was an active member of St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church for the 55 years in Cannon Falls. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church, 7459 Highway 19 Blvd., Cannon Falls, MN  55009. There will be a visitation from 10-11:00 am also on Saturday at the church prior to the memorial service.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
