Janice Arlene Miller, age 79, of Cannon Falls, MN died on Sunday evening, April 13, 2008 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls.
Janice was born August 22, 1928 in Stanton Township, the daughter of Samuel and Pearl (Dack) Robinson. She attended and graduated from the Randolph School, and continued her education at the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis.
She loved to snowmobile and ice fish. She had spent the last 28 years in Orr, Minnesota where she had been the manager of Andersons Resort.
Janice is lovingly survived by her sister, Alice (Otterness) and husband Ray Todd of Cannon Falls; two sisters-in-law, Louise Robinson of Cannon Falls and Cora Lee Robinson of Stanton. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Ohs and Zella Robinson; brothers, Wilmer and James Robinson; and by brothers-in-law, Harold Otterness and George Ohs.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation from 1-2 p.m., at the First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, with the Reverend Phillip Ruud officiating.
Interment will follow at the Stanton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials.
Active pallbearers will be Jim, Ed and Gary Robinson, Kevin and John Otterness, and Scott Kuehl. Honorary pallbearers will be Beverly Haugen, Diane Allmann, Doug and Paul Robinson, Dan Otterness, Renae Ingledew, Patricia Robinson, John and Kim Boehner, Mark and Ronette Novak.
