Jacob David Finne, son of Kerry and Christopher Finne, was born and died on Wednesday evening, August 30, 2006 at the Fairview Red Wing Hospital.
Although not yet born, he was a beloved member of our family and a joy to his parents, his grandparents, and his aunts and uncles. We were only able to hold him and cuddle him briefly, and we could not have loved him more. Now he is in heaven where he can be held and cuddled and loved by God, but he will live on in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Kerry (Kruckeberg) Finne of Welch; grandparents, James and Gayle Finne of Red Wing, and Cheryl Kruckeberg of Blooming Prairie; great-grandmother, Evelyn Beinhorn of Blooming Prairie; and uncles and aunts, Scott and Tara Finne of St. Paul, Amy and Chris Schaffer of Hastings, and Kasey and Marsha Kruckeberg of Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kevin Kruckeberg.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Vasa Lutheran Church, with Pastor Michael Dobbins officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church from 5-6 p.m. on Monday.
Active pallbearers will be his uncles and aunt, Scott Finne, Amy Schaffer and Kasey Kruckeberg.
