Jacalyn Renee "Jackie" Hoey, age 49 of Randolph, died peacefully at home on Friday afternoon, November 20, 2015. Jacalyn Renee was born on April 28, 1966 in Grand Rapids, MN, the daughter of Dale and Shirley M. (Luoma) Ogden. Jackie graduated from Greenway High School, Coleraine in 1984. She married Kenneth A. Hoey on September 27, 1986 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Taconite. She was a homemaker and together they raised four children, Matthew, Ryan, Angela, and Derek. Jackie attended Southeast Technical in Red Wing, and received her registered nursing certificate. She had worked at Hiawatha Home Care as case manager, and later Prairie River Home Care as case manager, then nursing supervisor. She truly found her life's passion in nursing, with helping and caring for others. You would always be greeted with a smile and a helping hand. She was a member of the Church of St. Mathias in Hampton. She was a devoted Randolph Rockets fan, enjoyed being at her children's activities, and was involved in the Randolph community. At home, she was talented in doing crafts and decorating. Jackie loved her family, and enjoyed the tradition of going back home to Coleraine to celebrate the holidays. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Ken "Muzzy"; their four children, Matthew, Ryan, Angela, and Derek, all of Randolph; two sisters, Becky (Brian) McCauley of Warba and Kris (Don "Block") Hanson of Taconite; her in-laws, the loving Hoey family; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Ogden on April 9, 2015 and mother, Shirley Ogden on September 28, 2009. A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 27 from 4-8 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10-11 am, at Church of St. Mathias in Hampton. Interment will be held on Sunday, November 29 at 1:00 pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers in Jackie's memory.
