Helen M. Baughman

Helen Baughman, age 87, of Cannon Falls, died Wed, Feb 8, at her home.

Helen Mae Baughman was born on Feb. 16, 1935, in St. Paul, the daughter of Ted and Mabel (Anderson) Hackman. She grew up there and graduated from Johnson High School. On January 4, 1955, she was married to Harold Baughman in Minneapolis. Helen enjoyed playing the piano for various groups, serving others, and playing cribbage. She attended Riverwood Church. Most important to Helen were family, friends, her Lord, and her church.

Survivors include her children Paul (Kathleen) Baughman of Cannon Falls, and Pam (Tom) Bravo of Woodbury; grandchildren Daniel (Kathy) Baughman, Cassandra (Dennis) Harrison, Brittany Baughman, William Baughman, Ryan (Maeve) Bravo, and Rachel (Andrew) Sullivan; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Edi Moss; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Mabel, her husband Harold, granddaughter Amanda, and her brother Donald Hackman.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am, at Riverwood Community Church, 5343 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cannon Falls Food Shelf, the Cannon Valley Senior Center, or donor’s choice. Helen’s family would like to thank the nurses at Heartland Hospice for the care she received.
