Heather Efinchuk

Heather Joan (nee Jackson) Efinchuk, Retired SFC, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, July 29, 2009 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls.
Heather was born on November 5, 1935 in St. Paul, the daughter of George E. and Luccile M. (Snodgrass) Jackson. She graduated from Lake City High School, and went on to serve with the US Air Force and the US Army, until her medical discharge. She continued her loyal service to her country until her death.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Efinchuk and Jennifer Efinchuk; sister, Gloria Jackson; brother, George (Maureen) Jackson; and other loving relatives.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 12:00 p.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area #5. The Rev. Roger Claxton will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
