Harold Stafford

Harold Edward Stafford, 86, of Cannon Falls passed away, February 18, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born February 13, 1929 in rural Geneva Minnesota, and attended country school in Sogn Valley. Harold married Arlene Horning on August 12, 1950. He was a laborer and farmer around the Cannon Falls area, and spent many years living in California. Harold enjoyed hunting, training his coon dogs, fishing, gardening and being with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kindness, giving to others and love of family. He is preceded in death by his wife Arlene; brothers, Robert and Edward Stafford; sisters, Marie Robinson and Marie Duncan Lloyd. Harold is survived by his daughter, Mary Jo (Scott) Weyand of Prescott WI; grandchildren, Mike (Lindsey) Whiting of North Branch, Joe (Amanda) Whiting of Prescott WI; great-grandchildren; Holden, Bailey, Tyler, Zander, Savannah; brothers, George (Vicky) Duncan of Cannon Falls, Arthur (Kathy) Duncan of Cannon Falls; with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 3 at 6:00pm at Lundberg Funeral Home of Cannon Falls. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Cannon Falls Cemetery.
