Harold Baughman

Harold Paul Baughman, age 76 of Cannon Falls, died at home on Wednesday evening, October 27, 2010. Harold was born in Hastings, MN, the son of Myrtle and Al Baughman. He graduated from Rosemount High School in 1953 and the University of Minnesota College of Education in 1959. He was a 37-year employee with the St. Paul Public Schools as a classroom teacher and principal. Harold appreciated the supportive staff and the cooperation with those he worked with. Harold loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and forestry. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen; son, Paul (Kathleen) Baughman of Cannon Falls; daughter, Pam (Tom) Bravo of Woodbury; six grandchildren, Daniel (Kathy) Baughman, Cassandra, Brittany and William Baughman, Ryan and Rachel Bravo; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Grace (Carl) Erikstrup of Eagan, and Barbara Day of Rosemount. Harold greatly appreciated the support from the many who were near in his time of need. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 a.m., at the First English Lutheran Church, 511 W. Belle St., Cannon Falls, with Pastor Dan Forsgren and Pastor Phillip Ruud officiating.
