Gregory A. Hoffman, age 66, of Cannon Falls, died Wed, January 27, at his home.
Greg was born on April 12, 1954 in Northfield, the son of Clarence and Bernice (Beckman) Hoffman. He grew up in Cannon Falls, graduating as a proud member of the Cannon Falls High School Class of 1973. Following high school Greg worked a construction job for a short time and then went to work for Lindahl Tire - a position he had until the present, nearly fifty years. He was proud to have helped with farm tires for families, in some cases for four generations. Greg was a leader for both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He enjoyed doing yard work, snow removal, and was passionate about mowing his lawn. He also had a great love for animals and had many through the years including sheep, a llama named Buddy, and his dogs Bailey, Summer, Dixie, and Ellie.
Survivors include his wife Pam, children Tyler Hoffman and fiancé Michelle Dockter, Jacob Hoffman, and Lukas Hoffman; sister Brenda Larson; and other relatives and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Bernice Hoffman, his brother Gary Hoffman, and Zach Bastyr who was like a son to him.
There will be a walk-through visitation on Monday, Feb. 1, from 4-7:00 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. Masks and social distancing will be required. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment will be in the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
