Gloria E. Lau

On June 27, 1943, Gloria Lau was born Gloria Ethel Barness in a small farming area of Starbuck, Minnesota. She was the second of four children. Gloria grew up with the family, went to school, graduated from high school and then wanted to leave the farm area. She married Vince Moen, they had three children; Kim, Wendy, and Jeryl. Unfortunately, Vince passed away at a young age and left Gloria a single mother to raise their three children.  She was a strong woman and worked hard to support the needs of her family.  Her children are all married and blessed her with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Gloria loved watching movies, old tv shows, and listening to music from the past.  She leaves behind many memories for people and lots of laughs where she worked. Gloria passed away on June 26, 2023 from complications of Dementia.

There will be a memorial service for Gloria Lau on Monday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Highway 19 Boulevard, Cannon Falls. Following the service there will be a gathering time for remembering and socializing with snacks and coffee at the home of Audra Fehling, 36960 County 57 Blvd, Cannon Falls/Dennison, Minnesota.
