Gloria Burr

Gloria Ann "Pee Wee" Burr, age 61 of Cannon Falls, died on Monday morning, February 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Gloria was born on May 3, 1952 in Cannon Falls, MN the daughter of Lee V. and Edna (Tanney) Glasby. She was born and raised in Welch and attended school in Vasa and Cannon Falls. She married Dennis Burr on April 3, 1971. Pee Wee enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to make people laugh and smile, and had a great sense of humor. She had an unbreakable spirit, and always enjoyed life, no matter what happened. She is survived by her husband of over 42 years, Dennis; children, Corey Burr of Cannon Falls, Kenneth (Tami) Burr of Goodhue, Laurie (Mark) Regenscheid of Randolph, Linda Burr and Victoria Burr, both of Cannon Falls; 10 grandchildren, Kyle, Dennis, Nicole, Mark, Collin, Tommy, Zachary, Samantha, Wesley and Katie; sisters, Sylvia Glasby of Red Wing, Delores Riley of Backus, Lucille Balster of Red Wing, and Lorraine Ushmeyer of Wahoo, NE; brothers, Paul Glasby of Wanamingo and Henry "Butch" Glasby of Red Wing; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, Harry, Kevin, Ernest, Tony and Vernon Glasby; and 4 sisters, Victoria, Loretta, Stella and Charlotte. A Celebration of Gloria's Life will be held on Friday, February 7 at 3 p.m., with visitation from 2-3 p.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.
