Gladys Manley

Gladys M. Manley died on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls, at the age of 89.  Gladys was born in Redfield, SD on October. 19, 1920, the daughter of Clara and Otto Weber.  Her mother died at childbirth and Gladys was raised by her aunt and uncle, Ida and Martin Meyer in Caledonia.  She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1938.   Gladys was married to Milford Manley on November 19, 1941 in Caledonia.  She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Milford; daughters, Jean (Bob) Beckman of Cannon Falls and Connie (Orv) Swenson of No. St. Paul, and their families.   A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 1 at 1:00 pm, with a visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, in Cannon Falls.   A private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
