Foster David Andersen, age 61 of Cannon Falls, died on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at his home at Freeborn Manor in Cannon Falls.
Foster was born on September 3, 1947 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Foster and Fern (Wolfe) Andersen.
He served during the Vietnam era with the US Navy on the USS Forrestal, until his honorable discharge. Foster was a welder by trade.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, David Anderson of Apple Valley; and sister, January Sorenson of Troy, Montana.
There will be no services held. His cremated remains will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
