Ebba Leach (Lundell) age 72, died at her home in Arizona on December 14, 2015 surrounded by her sons and the love of family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 1-2 p.m., at Spring Garden Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Inurnment is tentatively scheduled on Monday, May 9 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Ebba was born in Cannon Falls, MN to Milton and Gladys Lundell. In her mid 20's she gave up on the Vikings winning a Super Bowl and moved to Alaska. Travel was always a passion and included a recent trip to Norway and Sweden. Of all the journeys, nothing could top the adventure of a round trip from Alaska to Minnesota on the Alcan Highway, with nine people in a station wagon. Ebba was an exceptional baker, a great cook, and a talented painter. She was a loving mother to her sons, and took in occasional stray, and feral children. She was also a thoughtful, loyal, and compassionate friend. She was always on time, aided by the 37 watches and clocks that she left behind…all set 10 minutes fast. Ebba generously gave contributions to Wounded Warriors, Saint Joseph Indian School, VFW, and the Central Lutheran Church. Her spirit is carried on by her three sons, five grandchildren, five surviving siblings, extended family, and numerous friends.
