Douglas Gerald "Doug" Fremouw, age 57 of Cannon Falls, died at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Doug was born on February 11, 1966 in Cannon Falls, the son of Gerald and Elaine (Quam) Fremouw. He grew up in Cannon Falls and attended Cannon Falls Schools. He worked at Berquist in Cannon Falls (later known as Henkel) for many years.
Doug enjoyed watching MN Vikings games and fireworks, amusement parks, and decorating for Halloween and the fun that goes with it! He loved playing pool, darts, and pinball machines. He loved a potluck; especially, the desserts.
Doug loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a special "gift bin" where he accumulated a variety of small items, so he always had the perfect gift to give away! He did this often, especially for his mother and nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered as the guy that would do helpful things for others.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Fremouw; father, Gerry Fremouw; stepfather, Carmon Elstad; sister-in-law, Tina Fremouw; grand niece, Jasmine Wilson; grandparents; aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Elaine Elstad; longtime partner, Janell Cady; sisters, Rhonda (Peter) Klug, Sandra (Steve) Clayton, and Debbie (George) Huber; brother, David Fremouw; step sisters, Shirley (Dave) Geisler, Cindy (Greg) North, and Connie (Jeff) Anderson; uncle, Donald (Lucille) Quam; nieces, Darla Klug Eastman, Kristina Clayton Wilson, Jenae Huber Ramsey,
Jessie Huber Gerdes, Dani Fremouw Kukacka, Lyndsey Fremouw, and Gracie Fremouw; nephews, Allan Klug, Brandon Klug, Jeremy Clayton, and Matt Clayton; great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
