Doris Kohn

Doris Ann Ella Kohn, age 73 of Red Wing, died on Sunday evening, February 26, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Doris was born on November 1, 1943 in New London, WI, the daughter of Erdman and Erna (Bublitz) Kohn. She attended Red Wing Central High School for one year, and finished the three remaining years at Cannon Falls High School. She graduated in 1961. Doris was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Red Wing. She worked at ProAct for many years, until retiring. She enjoyed reading about the Arctic, doing needlework, and traveling in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She is survived by her sister, Verna Kohn of Cannon Falls and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vernon; grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 1-2 p.m., at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Betcher, Pete Shay, Dan Flotterud, Floyd Haeuszer, Karl Hochmuth, and Dick Ericson. Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Cannon Falls and St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Red Wing.
