Donald Leslie Johnson, age 86 of Vasa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; and parents, Willie “Bill” and Hannah Johnson.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandy (Gary) Rocheleau, Sharon Laughlin and Dianne (Ken) Chermak; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was a longtime farmer, truck driver, and member of Vasa Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Vasa Lutheran Church, 15235 Norelius Rd in Vasa, with Pastor Michael Dobbins officiating.
Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls. There will also be visitation at the church on Tuesday from 12-1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
