Dianne Williams

Dianne Williams, age 65 of Cannon Falls, died on Friday evening, February 25, 2011 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. Dianne was born in Chippewa Falls, WI on March 27, 1945 to Ernest and Pat (LaFlair) Vetter. She worked at Parkland Nursing Home in Superior before moving to Cannon Falls. She later worked at Gemini for 16 years until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church. She loved reading, crocheting, feeding and watching birds, crossword puzzles, her pets and spending time with her family, especially on Sundays when she would cook them all Sunday dinner. She is survived by daughters; Corrine Fox of Cannon Falls, Kelly (Marty) Graff of Owatonna, and Kerry (Jon) Wedde of Zumbrota; grandchildren, Rick Gomez, Ashley Graff, Danielle Bergson, Jerome Fox, Kayla Wedde, Spencer Graff, Cole Wedde and Joshua Wedde; niece, Heather Dettle; and nephew, Darrel LaFlair. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Harold Bergson in 2009 and second husband Leeroy "Lee" Williams in 2010 and her sister Mary. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service, at St. Pius V Catholic Church in Cannon Falls. Father Jay Kythe will officiate. Private interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth at a later date.
