Diane Greven

Diane B. Greven, age 65 of Cannon Falls and formerly of Fridley, died on Friday afternoon, April 1, 2011 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls, where she has been residing the past 2 A½ years. Diane was born on September 11, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of John and Delores (Murphy) Greven. She graduated from the Vocation High School in 1964 and went on to Rogers and Brenner Beauty College, where she received her beautician's certificate in 1965. She had been employed as a beautician all of her life, working at Mar-Be-Els, Karen's, Sheri's, and Daytons, retiring in 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Delores Greven; and special brother-in-law, David Hulsing. She is survived by her sister, Renee Rehder of Cannon Falls; nephew, Scott Hulsing of Cannon Falls; and nieces, Debbie Hulsing of Olivia, and Tammy (Ken) Dirkes of Sauk Rapids. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8 at 11 a.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls, with Doug Greven officiating. There will be visitation for one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment of her cremated remains will be held at a later date at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope. Honorary pallbearers will be nephew, Scott Hulsing, and nieces, Debbie Hulsing and Tammy Dirkes. Memorials are preferred in Diane's memory to donor's choice.
